AJ Jones is a dedicated union leader with over 37 years of experience in the APWU, currently serving as the Eastern Region Coordinator. Elected in 2019 by a vast majority, AJ brings a strong track record of advocacy, leadership, and results. He previously served as President of the Eastern Montgomery County PA Area Local #2233, where he led with integrity and passion for 12 years.

AJ has relentlessly advocated for postal workers' rights, fighting for fair wages, hours, and better working conditions. His extensive experience and leadership within the APWU prepared him to lead with strength, integrity, and a deep commitment to the union’s mission. He is ready to bring bold, proactive leadership to the presidency, ensuring that all APWU members have a strong voice at the table.
AJ holds several certifications, is a graduate of West Virginia Summer School and Maritime Institute Labor College, and is the recipient of the APWU Auxiliary Bridge Builders Award.

He has served on multiple national committees and is Vice Chair of the AFL-CIO Southeast Area Labor Federation. Known for his collaborative style and relentless drive, AJ is committed to prioritizing members and strengthening our union.
